Who We Are

St. Patrick’s is a coeducational, Age 3 to Grade 8 Episcopal parish private day school in Washington D.C. that enrolls approximately 465 students in three divisions:

We believe that all people are created in the image of God and so we are called the Children of God. We believe that Honesty, Responsibility, Kindness, and Respect are essential to caring for ourselves, other people and the world around us.

Defining Values and Beliefs

St. Patrick’s students come from throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. About 41% of the student body self-identify as African-American, Latino/Hispanic, Asian-American, or multiracial.

Where We Are

St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School is located in the Palisades section of Northwest Washington, D.C. between Foxhall Road and MacArthur Boulevard, NW. The Whitehaven Campus (PK3-Grade 5) is situated directly across the street from the George Washington University-Mt. Vernon Campus, and the MacArthur Campus (Grades 6-8) is adjacent to the Potomac Reservoir.

Located near Georgetown and less than a mile from Georgetown Hospital, only one and a half miles from Chain Bridge, and two miles from the Maryland line, St. Patrick’s offers students regular opportunities to experience the historic landmarks and rich culture of the nation's capital, Maryland, and Virginia.
