The academic core of the Grades 7 and 8 program consists of humanities, a two-year sequence that integrates the study of American history and English; mathematics; science; and Spanish.

A new humanities program in Grade 6 will debut with the opening in the fall of 2017 of a relocated and expanded middle school program for Grades 6, 7, & 8.

Special-subject classes include religion, health, service learning, study skills, programming, art, and music. Students are assigned to advisory groups, typically eight to ten students, that meet regularly during the week, with advisors serving as the principal liaison between school and home.
