Our Curriculum

The Lower School is a place that fosters growth. So much learning happens when young people take appropriate risks.

The Lower School consists of three self-contained homeroom classes at each grade level in which children study language arts, math, and social studies with the homeroom teacher. With a child's move from Nursery School to Lower School, special classes increase in number, length, and frequency of meetings. Lower School children leave the classroom for science, art, music, physical education, and library, while the religion and Spanish teachers come to them. Our elementary school teachers integrate technology into student learning experiences throughout the week.
