Lower School (K-5) Curriculum

The Lower School is a place that fosters growth. So much learning happens when young people take appropriate risks.

The Lower School consists of three self-contained homeroom classes at each grade level in which children study language arts, math, and social studies with the homeroom teacher. With a child’s move from the Early Childhood Division to the Lower School, special classes increase in number, length, and meeting frequency. Science, art, music, physical education, library, religion, and Spanish are special subjects in the Lower School.
