Reporting & Progress

The school year comprises three trimester grading periods— Fall, Winter, and Spring. In PK4, parents receive written progress reports at the May Parent-Teacher Conferences. In Kindergarten to Grade 8, parents receive written reports electronically, accessible via the Blackbaud Parent Portal, at the end of each grading period.

In the Lower School, the report form consists of a detailed inventory of skills, behaviors, and expectations for each grade level. Supporting narrative comments accompany the Fall Trimester and Spring Trimester reports, while the completed inventory guides the March Parent-Teacher Conference following the end of the Winter Trimester.

In the Middle School, the report form includes an inventory of skills and behaviors, as well as achievement marks, by subject area. Narrative comments accompany the inventory at the conclusion of the Fall Trimester and Spring Trimester. Brief interim reports are provided for students experiencing difficulties or noteworthy growth midway through the Winter Trimester and Spring Trimester.
