St. Patrick’s Redesigned Website Receives w3 Gold Award


The Day School’s offices of Communication and Marketing, Development, and Enrollment Management last year took on the project of redesigning the website with Finalsite, our website developers and host, at the helm. Finalsite, who also partners with the Day School on ongoing marketing and communication initiatives, has recognized the excellence and creativity used to tell the story of St. Patrick’s.  Knowing the rigorous evaluation process ahead, Finalsite moved to submit our small-school website to be reviewed by a panel of experts by category and standards of excellence.  

AIVA judged websites on creativity, usability, navigation, functionality, visual design, and ease of use, yielding three tiers—Best in Show, Gold, and Silver—and noted that “to uphold a high standard of excellence, a category may have multiple winners or may have no winners at all.” Fewer than 10% of the entries earned a Gold Award (and 1% for Best in Show). Other Gold winners include, Dell Technologies Education Services for “You are the Producer,” Code and Theory for Adidas—Impossible Is Nothing, BORN Group for Oreo iD, and We are thrilled to have earned this recognition!
