Voices resounded, bells rang clear, and xylophones and drums played in perfect harmony at the Spring Concert last week. Nearly 120 students from Grades 4 through 8 and members of the Day School faculty and staff joined together to present a night of music. Performing music worldwide, the participants sang in Latin, Hebrew, Bemba (Zambia), Swahili (Congo), and Estonian—it was quite impressive! Watching the students perform, the audience could see, feel, AND hear how locked in they were with each piece—the room hummed with their excitement, and the energy was palpable. Thank you to all who could attend and support these young musicians.
