In the larger world, discussions on the future of journalism suggest that newspapers need to find new ways to attract readers. For the students at the root of the reaction of the Wolfhound Weekly, there was no such need to find a way to draw in their classmates.
With the introduction of our new Middle School newspaper, readership has exploded as middle school students seek to learn about the most essential elements of the St. Patrick’s experience. The WW, as students now refer to it, includes articles of interest ranging from what is happening on campus in any given week to the Wolfhound athletics successes to fun things to do on the weekend.
The publication is entirely student-created and run, with only an editorial eye from administrators. We are proud of the intrepid reporters who write for the Wolfhound Weekly and look forward to sharing an issue with you soon.
