Horizons Volunteers Needed This Summer

St. Patrick's is a proud member of Horizons Greater Washington, a summer academic, cultural, and recreational enrichment program that kindles a lifelong passion for learning and fosters collaboration, creative problem-solving, and grit. The regional Horizons Greater Washington nonprofit organization is comprised of independent schools St. Patrick's, Maret, and Norwood, who work on their respective campuses with students from the District of Columbia and Montgomery County public schools. Horizons at St. Patrick's provides in-person volunteer opportunities for the summer of 2023!

Horizons at St. Patrick's is seeking in-person volunteers for the summer of 2023. Candidates should be high school or college students who are interested in working with students ages six to 15. Many volunteers choose to use this work as an opportunity to meet service learning/community service requirements. Volunteers must commit to at least two weeks of work and attend a short orientation in late June. The Horizons program runs from Friday, June 30, through Friday, August 4.
