Grade 5 Musical Performance: Game Night!

Despite the power outage, the Grade 5 Performance of Game Night was spectacular! What started in the music classroom grew into an arts-integrated, student-created performance. 

With guidance from Music Teachers Betsy Sebring and Laura Petersen, students worked to choreograph movements, arrange music, and compose speech pieces along the central theme of Game Night. The backdrop for the performance was designed and executed by the Grade 5 students under the direction of Steph Sack, Grades 3-5 Art Teacher. As audience members watched the performance, they learned about a new board or card game or were reminded of an old favorite!
