Foxhall Campus Garden & Outdoor Learning Space Continues to Thrive with Community Sustainability Efforts

Our sustainability efforts range from our community bike share for campus-to-campus commutes to schoolwide composting and waste initiatives. We take pride in our community involvement to make this world a better place. This year, we are excited to see that our Garden & Outdoor Learning Space is up and running with full summer/fall crops that range from a larger selection of eggplants, cucumbers, and squash to our herb garden full of basil, rosemary, stevia, and more.  The St. Patrick's community has also renewed our partnership with Organic Waste Haulers, and our students have been scraping away at lunch to compost all of our extra waste scraps in hopes of returning to our 99% waste-free lunch in the near future.

Continue to read our sustainability updates throughout the year for exciting news and opportunities for involvement. Our Parent Environmental Action Committee meeting schedule will be coming out soon, so email Director of Environmental Sustainability Sam Mason if you wish to join the team and come to a meeting!
