First Middle School Dance in Over Five Years

First Middle School Dance in Over Five Years

On Friday, February 3, we hosted a dance for our Middle School students for the first time in over five years. The Student Leadership Council (SLC) and other student volunteers–the Dance Committee–led the planning and execution of the fun-filled, festive, and dance-filled evening. From the decorations to snacks and drinks, to a DJ playing all of the students' requests, there was something for everyone in attendance. Highlights of the night included a student-led Conga line with almost every student joining and a dance contest with prizes.

The Dance Committee decided on the dress code (eclectic) in the hopes of honoring their peers' comfort levels and wishes. Some students arrived in casual dress, and others in semi-formal attire. Thank you to all of the chaperones and the planning committee for making this evening memorable for our Middle School students. All in all, it was a special night!
