Wolfhounds Basketball: A Strong Start to an Exciting Season

The basketball season is off to an exciting start, with our six teams achieving a combined record of 7-5. The competition has been strong, and the players’ hard work and determination are already paying off. Our four “A” teams began Capital Athletic Conference play in January and have sharpened their skills while facing talented opponents from across the league.

This winter, St. Patrick’s will host an impressive 55 home games, providing plenty of opportunities for families and friends to come out and cheer on the Wolfhounds. Your support makes all the difference, and we can’t wait to see the stands filled with energy and school spirit.

For our younger students, Developmental Basketball for Grades 4 and 5 began Saturday, January 11. These Saturday morning sessions offer players a chance to build skills, confidence, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment.

Additionally, we’re excited to offer Open Gym on Saturday mornings for students in Grades 6, 7, and 8. This is a fantastic opportunity for athletes to refine their game and stay active outside of team practices.

Stay tuned for more updates as the season progresses. Let’s go, Wolfhounds!

A basketball game is taking place on a well-lit indoor court, with players in blue and white uniforms actively engaged in the game.
