24th Annual Battle of the Books: A Fun-Filled Reading Competition for Students in Grades 3-5

The 24th Annual Battle of the Books Competition was a lively celebration of reading for Grades 3 to 5 students. This event aims for children to have fun while competing with peers on their respective Green and White teams. Decked out stickers showcasing their team colors, students excitedly answered questions about books on summer reading lists and reading genres to collectively win points during this event.

Faculty and staff served as judges, teams got the chance to “steal” points, and a competitive yet positive atmosphere was maintained by our school librarians who ran the event, Mara Rosenberg and Jamila Felton. The winning team (Green this year) was announced following the event during carpool.
