Updated Community Health/Risk Mitigation Protocols 2022-2023
We remain grateful for the strong partnership with families that allowed us to have a successful 2021-2022 school year, even in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Practices and protocols from last school year and this summer have helped keep our community healthy and maintain in-person programming. In looking ahead to the 2022-2023 school year, our overall commitment remains the continued prioritization of transparency in our communications. Our intention in this communication is to provide a general update on the confirmed beginning-of-school risk mitigation protocols for COVID-19 and Monkeypox. We will offer additional information during the week of August 22. In the interim, our Pandemic Response Committee will continue to monitor the public health landscape and associated data. We remain grateful for the ongoing advice of our Medical Advisory Team.
Monkeypox: Parents should monitor family members for unexplained rashes with accompanying fevers. Students with either of these symptoms should be kept home and the Health Office should be notified.
