AUCTION TO BENEFIT FINANCIAL AID IS ALMOST HERE! The Auction to Benefit the Financial Aid Program on Saturday, March 2, is almost here! Spring Online begins on Sunday, February 24! Click here: https://one.bidpal.net/soarwithus/ticketing(details:ticketing-summary) to purchase your tickets for the Auction! FUND-A-SCHOLAR PROVIDES ESSENTIAL AUCTION SUPPORT We invite you to raise your paddle for Fund-A-Scholar at this year's Auction to Benefit the Financial Aid Program on March 2. Fund-A-Scholar is a tremendous display of the generosity of the St. Patrick's community. You will have the opportunity to raise your paddles for Fund-A-Scholar during the Live Auction. Like the rest of the Auction, Fund-A-Scholar helps to enable students whose families would otherwise not be able to afford the cost of a St. Patrick's education to join and enrich our community. This socioeconomic diversity is an integral part of who we are as a school, sustaining our mission and vision. Last year, Fund-A-Scholar alone raised $326,000, a substantial portion of the Auction total—and nearly 20% of the total annual financial aid budget. FEBRUARY 25 - MARCH 1: CELEBRATE WOLFHOUND SPIRIT! Join Lower School and Upper School students in celebrating Wolfhound spirit during St. Patrick's Spirit Week! Students will share the building excitement for our annual Auction by dressing in themed attire each day. Our Grades 4-8 Student Leadership Council put forth a ballot of seven choices, and our Upper School students selected their top five preferences! KINDERGARTEN-GRADE 5 PARENTS VISITING DAY CANCELLED TOMORROW Having felt the effects of winter weather this year more than in recent years, we have decided to cancel our Kindergarten to Grade 5 Parents Visiting Day scheduled for Friday in order to recapture some of the instructional time we have lost. As important, and enjoyable, as Parents Visiting Day is, we will choose to prioritize teaching and learning in this moment. SERVICES MARK ASH WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6 On Wednesday, March 6, the season of Lent begins for Christians around the world. Ash Wednesday signals the start of 40 days of prayer and reflection when Christians strive to look more carefully at themselves and their relationship with God, their neighbors, and all of creation. Self-reflection and resetting one's course of life are valued practices in many faith traditions. SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK - PLEASE JOIN US TOMORROW FOR TWO PERFORMANCES "To be, or not to be: that is the question." (Hamlet) We certainly hope your answer will be to join us at one of our two performances tomorrow in the Nave that will showcase scenes from Twelfth Night, Macbeth, and Hamlet.
