The steps required to complete an application vary according to the division and grade level to which you are applying. For specific information, click on the division to which you are applying below.

Out-of-Town Applications—We regularly work with families in the process of relocating and seek to be as flexible and helpful as possible. Please contact the Admission Office directly to work out any necessary accommodations.

Admission Decisions—Admission letters will be posted online on March 6, 2020.

Application Process:

Nursery & PK

St Patrick’s admits 24 to 26 new Nursery students each year and 15 to 20 new PK students.

 
NURSERY: AGE 3 BY SEPTEMBER 1, 2020
PK: AGE 4 BY SEPTEMBER 1, 2020
 

Please note: St. Patrick's refers to the grade level for children who will be 3 years old by 9/1/2020 as Nursery. However, Ravenna, our online admission system, refers to that grade level as PS. Please select "PS" if you are applying for Nursery.

Parent Tour (required)

The best way to learn about St. Patrick's is by visiting us! We offer weekly small-group information sessions and school tours for Nursery and PK on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 AM, as well as larger Admission Programs, listed below. At these events, visitors meet teachers, current parents, and administrators and tour the school. Childcare is provided while you enjoy the program.

The optional parent interview is an opportunity for prospective parents to meet with a member of the St. Patrick's admission team to learn more about our school and share information about their child(ren) and family.

We offer appointments for parent interviews Monday and Thursday mornings from 8:00 - 9:30 am once you have completed the application.

Children participate in 45-minute, small-group play visits in January and early February after submitting your application. Please sign up for a play visit by accessing Ravenna, our online admission system.

Supporting Materials (required, DUE January 24, 2020)

Standardized testing is not required for Nursery and PK applicants. However, parents or guardians are required to submit a teacher recommendation form if their child has participated in a regular playgroup, preschool, or childcare program. Recommendation forms are sent directly from Ravenna, our online admission system, as part of the application process. Teacher recommendation forms are due for general applicants on January 24, 220 and for Special Consideration candidates on November 29, 2019.

Kindergarten

St. Patrick’s enrolls 10 to 15 new Kindergarten students each year.

Applicants to Grades 1-5 are required to submit a teacher recommendation form to their current homeroom teacher.

School Report and Transcript (required DUE January 24, 2020)

Applicants to Grades 1-5 are required to submit a signed School Report and Transcript Release form to their current school.

The School Report and Transcript Release Form may be found on Ravenna, our online admission system. School Report/Transcripts are due for general applicants on January 25, 2019.

Standardized Testing (required, DUE January 24, 2020)

Applicants to Grades 1-5 are required to submit WISC-IV or WISC-V results.
