Personal Property of Students

The School assumes no responsibility for the care and safekeeping of any item of personal property brought to school by a student. The student shall bear sole responsibility. Therefore, students should avoid bringing to school items of particular value, either material or sentimental, that could be damaged or go missing. Parents should see to it that their children bring no such items to school. Student lockers have no locks on them, and student cubbies in the younger grades are open, making it difficult to secure items in either lockers or cubbies. Students bringing in items to share in class should alert their teachers to any concerns about the safekeeping of those items.
