Communication with Families
An effective home-school partnership is rooted in good communication between a child’s parents and the School. Therefore, St. Patrick’s understands and expects that teachers and parents will communicate with some frequency. The primary forms of communication between home and school are emails and phone calls. It is our expectation that faculty and staff will return messages from parents within 24 hours. Nonetheless, we also recognize that the timing of some communication may not lend itself to a prompt reply. Any phone messages or emails sent after the close of the school day may not be attended to until the following day. Similarly, phone messages and emails sent over the weekend or during a school holiday may not be returned until the following school day.
