Girls varsity basketball team advanced to the CAC (Capital Athletic Conference) semi-finals and four St. Patrick’s varsity basketball players have been named to the CAC All-Star teams.

On Tuesday, February 21, St. Patrick's faculty will engage in a day of professional development comprising workshops on inquiry-based learning and the cultivation of professional culture. Faculty will also engage in individual classroom work. Brief descriptions of the important work teachers and administrators will undertake on that day follows. It is sure to be a good day of learning and reflection.
The well-attended event was hosted by students from Kindergarten to Grade 8 who participated in C3 (Culture, Creed, and Community) Thursday. "I learned a couple of new names and the roles they played In Black history. I am confident that this interactive Black History Month celebration provided a learning opportunity for all." (Parent)
Our coin drive continues with donation boxes in each classroom for “Pennies for Paintings” sponsored by the Grade 8 Community Service Club in conjunction with the Haiti Partnership Program. Currently, we have raised $286.73. Thank you.
Horizons Greater Washington students enjoyed a half-day of learning, enrichment, and fun at St. Patrick’s last Saturday. The Day School hosted 23 students in Grades 1 to 8 from partner DCPS school Bancroft Elementary in Mount Pleasant.
