HOOPS FOR HAITI 3-ON-3 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT RETURNS APRIL 7

Posted March 9, 2017

Save the date! The fifth annual Hoops for Haiti 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, benefiting our partner church and school in Haiti, St. Etienne, will be held on Friday, April 7 . You will receive an email early next week when registration begins.

Hoops for Haiti will be Day School parents’ best opportunity to make a financial contribution in support of St. Etienne by registering their children to participate in the event as players or Superfans and/or making an additional donation toward the Haiti Partnership Program.

Last year’s event raised more than $22,000 which, combined with other fundraising efforts, allowed us to continue supporting the lunch program for St. Etienne students, teacher salaries, and student tuitions. Your strong support of Hoops for Haiti will allow us to continue this important work in the coming year.

TOURNAMENT DETAILS
Students in Grades 3 through 8 are invited to compete in the tournament, while any student can participate as a Superfan! Your child's registration fee includes a commemorative Hoops for Haiti t-shirt as well as dinner. Students in Nursery School through Grade 1 should be accompanied by an adult.

PARENT INVOLVEMENT
In recent years, we have highlighted the need for consistent, reliable financial support for St. Etienne—most extensively in this edition of the St. Patrick’s Press. Hoops for Haiti is the primary way to show your financial support through a combined registration-donation form.

We hope that your children’s excitement about supporting our friends in Haiti will inspire you to do the same! Please look for the official Hoops for Haiti invitation early next week.
