  • GRADE 8 GIRLS ATTEND STEM COMPETITION AT FOXCROFT SCHOOL

    Two teams of four Grade 8 girls traveled to Foxcroft School in Middleburg on Saturday, April 11, to compete in a regional all-girls science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) competition. One of our teams placed first in one of the six different competitions, and the other team earned second place.

    Grade 8 students’ capstone Civil Rights Movement trip takes them to Birmingham and Montgomery, Alabama, and Atlanta, Georgia. Grade 7 students travel to Antietam, Maryland, and Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, to complement their study of the American Civil War.

  • COMMUNITY SERVICE CLUB BAKE SALE APRIL 28 BENEFITS HORIZONS

    The Grade 6 members of the Community Service Club will hold a Bake Sale during lunch on Tuesday, April 28, for students in Kindergarten through Grade 8. Cupcakes, cookies, and brownies will be sold for $1.00 each. Each student may purchase one item. Proceeds will fund the purchase of swim goggles for Horizons Greater Washington students at St. Patrick’s this summer.
