Substitute Teaching Positions Available

St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School, a vibrant and dynamic independent school of more than 500 students in Nursery through Grade 8, seeks applicants who are interested in substitute teaching. Applicants must have at least a bachelor’s degree and enjoy working with young people in a school setting. Preference will be given to individuals with prior teaching experience. Substitute teachers are needed at all grade levels in general homerooms (language arts, math, and social studies) as well as in special-subject areas such as art, music, science, physical education, and technology. Candidates must pass a required background check.

If you are interested in being a substitute teacher at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School for the 2012-2013 school year, please come to one of two scheduled open houses.  The open houses will take place on the Whitehaven Campus at 4700 Whitehaven Parkway, NW.  You can RSVP by email to Trissy McHenry mchenryt@stpatsdc.org.  All substitute teachers must have a bachelor’s degree and will be asked to sign a release that authorizes the school to do a background check.  You will need to bring two copies of an updated resume and a current ID.I hope to see you there!
