We hope that you will be able to join us tomorrow, Friday, May 19, at 8:30 am in the Nave to celebrate the magnificent work of our faculty and staff and to recognize certain individuals for their service, including two retiring faculty members—physical education teacher and Haiti Partnership Program leader Marcy Ference and early childhood science teacher Martha Estroff. At the chapel, we will award the Love of Teaching Award and the Jeff Keffer Service Award.

The Gymnasium and Performance Center will become an art gallery and music hall for our tenth annual Grades 7 and 8 Performing and Studio Arts Night. The artistic and musical talents and great work of all of our Grades 7 and 8 students will be on display. In particular, the evening program showcases the efforts of Grade 8 students. Please join us for this annual tradition for parents, grandparents, and special friends of St. Patrick's Grades 7 and 8 students.

St. Patrick's learning specialists work in close coordination with homeroom teachers to support students and foster cognitive and academic growth. Periodically, they share suggestions for parents to help support students at home. Learning specialist and Lower School literacy coach Allison Bragan sat down to discuss ways in which parents of younger students can set the stage for literacy.
